- I am currently living in Seoul since September 2007, teaching English at Kyungwon University. I have completed my PhD dissertation on filmmaker Martin Scorsese, titled "Martin Scorsese and Film Culture: Radically Contextualizing the Contemporary Auteur." I worked in the Film Studies department at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada from 2003-2007 and have published pieces in FILM HISTORY, JUMP CUT, CANADIAN JOURNAL OF FILM STUDIES, FILM CRITICISM, and SENSES OF CINEMA. I am currently the contributing editor on Film for the website The One One Four.
